Route 66 provides a GPS-activated Progressive Web App offering audio storytelling, interactive maps, points of interest discovery, geofenced sponsor offers, and user-generated content features for travelers on the historic Route 66 highway.

User-Generated Content

Content License

By submitting content (including ratings, tips, photos, videos, or other materials), you grant Route 66 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and create derivative works from your content. This license includes the right to share your content with sponsors, partners, and other users.

Content Standards

You agree that your content will not:

• Contain offensive, discriminatory, or hateful language
• Include personal information of others without consent
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Contain spam, advertising, or promotional material
• Be false, misleading, or defamatory
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any user-generated content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate. We employ automated filtering for profanity and personally identifiable information, but we are not obligated to monitor all content.

Sponsor Offers and Third-Party Services

The Service displays geofenced offers from sponsors and merchants. We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy, quality, or availability of third-party offers
• Products or services provided by sponsors or merchants
• Disputes between users and third-party businesses
• Changes to offers, pricing, or terms by third parties

Offer redemption is subject to merchant terms and conditions. Contact merchants directly for issues with specific offers.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Collect or harvest data from other users without consent
• Impersonate another person or entity

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (including audio stories, maps, design, text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by Route 66 or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Payment Terms (For Merchants)

Merchants purchasing paid offer services agree to:

• Pay subscription fees as selected in the merchant portal
• Provide accurate payment information via Stripe
• Accept month-to-month billing with the ability to pause or cancel
• Understand that refunds are not provided for partial months

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Information provided will be accurate or complete
• Defects will be corrected

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
